Welcome to the home page of the Gloucestershire Amateur Fencing Union.

 

GAFU exists as part of the South West section of the British Fencing Association.  It’s purpose is to promote the sport of fencing throughout the county.  It facilitates the running of county championships at all three weapons for adult and junior fencers alike.

The one event that the county team is privileged to enter each year is the EXCALIBUR TROPHY.  This event, held in Bath each year, is one of the most popular events in the national calendar. Invited teams from counties all over the UK, meet to do battle in one of the most hotly contested team events in the UK.  Click here for full results of last years event.
